Cobb Valley Hydro Electric Plant – Golden Bay

We were proud to take on the huge task of helping restore and renovate the historic Cobb Valley Hydro Electric Plant in Golden Bay. Working alongside Manawa Energy and supporting Iconic Cladding, our expert asbestos removal division carried out Class B asbestos abatement from the exterior cladding and 2,000 sqm roof, as well as a full Class A environmental clean throughout the building. Following the asbestos removal, we also completed industrial painting of the building’s windows and framing. This was a major upgrade to a well-known site that drew plenty of interest from the local community. We’re grateful to have been part of preserving such an important piece of regional history.
