Over a five-month period in 2025, our specialised Asbestos Removal Division, led by foreman Andrew Greig, successfully completed a large-scale asbestos remediation for Nelmac at their facility on Bullen Street. The project was executed in four carefully planned stages; a methodical, safety-first approach that demanded high levels of planning, coordination, and commitment.

Over the final three months of 2025, our Marine Painting Division, under the expert direction of foreman James Flowers, successfully completed the full dry-docking and refit of the fishing vessel FV Ocean Dawn in the historic dry dock at Lyttelton Port Company.

Our asbestos division was called in to assist with the demolition of the storm-damaged restaurant/bar and jetty at Punga Cove in the Marlborough Sounds.

We completed a concrete floor grind and paint for Master Valet, a well-loved Nelson business moving into bigger and better premises.

We completed a full waterblast and partial repaint of The Styx Restaurant, a well-known Nelson institution located on Haven Road.

We recently refreshed several of Victory Primary School’s classroom roofs with a full roof respray. The result? A clean, vibrant finish that looks great and will stand the test of time.

We were proud to take on the huge task of helping restore and renovate the historic Cobb Valley Hydro Electric Plant in Golden Bay.

As part of our regular work servicing the Lyttelton Drydock, our marine painting team was pleased to be involved in the major refit of Sealord’s Aukaha during its month-long stay out of the water.

We recently completed the repainting of the large cool store roof at Talley’s Westport.

In early 2023 our removal team was engaged to carry out Class B asbestos abatement at Hangar 2 on Trent Drive, a large WWII-era heritage hangar at Nelson Airport.
