Supervisor

John jumped right in when he joined us at Trafalgar Painting, and in just six months he’d climbed the ladder to Marine Painting Supervisor. This highlights his adaptability and natural leadership. He came in with solid painting chops, and has gone from strength to strength, proving himself time and again on projects big and small. He has tackled a few long stretches at the Lyttelton drydock, where he has gained a wealth of experience and delivered great results.
Now, he's working towards his Marine Coatings apprenticeship qualification, staying committed to upping his skills. Beyond the supervisors’ title, John is appreciated by his colleagues as “one of the boys”; a down-to-earth leader, great for a laugh, and always ready to lift the team's spirits.
Outside of work, John’s all about family, being an active dad to his two sons is his top priority. He’s as hands-on at home as he is at work: making music, riding motorbikes with the boys, learning how to cut hair, and even running his own clothing line. Motivated, grounded, and always planning ahead, we are proud to have a guy like John on our team. He’s got big plans, and the drive to make them happen.
