Uoka Kavesi brings a blend of hands-on skill and calm leadership to our team. Shaped by his background in the fishing industry, Uoka arrived here with great practical knowledge of the very vessels we paint, giving him a clear advantage in understanding the intricacies of marine painting from day one. He’s picked up the painting game brilliantly, and we’re proud that he’s now working towards his Marine Coatings Apprenticeship Qualification.

As our Marine Painting Supervisor, Uoka is our water blaster master and takes pride preparing surfaces for flawless finishes. He’s equally ready to lend a hand in our Asbestos Removal Division, demonstrating both versatility and a genuine dedication to our shared success. Even though he’s pretty chill, Uoka knows how to keep the team on their toes, pushing to get every job done efficiently. He is a calm, collected leader - no fuss, just results.

Off the job, Uoka is a devoted family man who values his wife and daughter above all. He played club rugby until just last year, reflecting his passion for the game and his Samoan heritage. When he's not on the field or at home, you'll find him actively involved in his church community, where his commitment and values shine through.
